📱 User Experience Design Starter Kit
Welcome to the Hack the Gap Starter Kit for User Experience Design! This guide is for current and future User Experience (UX) professionals, organizations and individuals who generally want to learn about UX & Human-Centered Design practices.
📖 Background
The way people experience software is important. The look, the feel, how it flows. Many of these things are shaped by people who work in user experience, product, and design.
"User experience" encompasses all aspects of the end-user's interaction with the company, its services, and its products.
Some terms you may hear when describing these types of roles are User Experience (UX), Human Experience (HX), User Interface (UI), Graphic Design, Strategy, and Product Management. UX/UI design is often lumped together, but there is a key difference: While UI designers develop the basic design elements of a platform, UX designers develop how people (sometimes called users) interact with the platform, and what they take from that experience.
